Church and personal finances have been affected by the current restrictions in the same way as our regular church life.
For the church, income streams have stopped or reduced and although we have cut outgoings as far as possible there are potential new demands on our resources to help those affected.
Personally the crisis may mean uncertain or reduced income. If as a result you need to reduce your regular giving we completely understand. Equally, if you are able to add a little or make a one off donation to offset our reduced or lost income it would be most welcome. There is no need to let me know of any change as I will pick it up through the bank account.
Fr Stephen has received enquiries about donations whilst the church remains closed. Those of you who make donations through the envelope scheme may also be wondering how to continue your contributions in the current circumstances.
If you feel able to convert your envelope donation to a standing order, even if it is only for the duration of the current restrictions, the church bank account details are as follows;
Account name: PCC of Edenbridge
Account number: 11072250
Sort Code: 40 20 35
A standing order form is available to download from the website edenbridgeparishchurch.org which you may send to your bank by post if you do not have online banking access.
As noted above the church still has regular outgoings which will need to be met even though the church is closed, so being able to rely on continued regular giving is vital.
NEW REGULAR GIVING
There may also be those who would like to begin regular giving and you will be most welcome. If you are able to Gift Aid that giving there is a copy of the gift aid declaration on the church website (as above) or if do not have access to a printer you can contact me on email@example.com or by telephone on 01732 865186 for further options. You may also contact me if you have any other queries or concerns.
We are hoping to add some additional interactive features to the website to help with one off and regular donations in the coming days. Further information will also be posted there, if and when it becomes available, so please keep checking back.
Thank you as always for your generosity. Jane Cain – Stewardship Secretary
